The Tivoli Access Manager roadmap is as follows:
The TAM Architecture course is aimed at security specialists who would be designing a TAM solution. It may or may not lead onto the Deployment course below.

For TAM specialists, the following course roadmap would be appropriate. TW082 and TV346 would be optional depending on requirements.

Certification:
In order to prepare for TAM certification, the Deployment course (TW101) is essential. It is possible to certify after sitting this course as long as the student also has some practical experience of TAM and Directory Server coupled with some study of white papers and various manuals. However, most students who certify will have attended TW101 together with TV376 and TW171 and also have some practical experience.
